Open Source Development#

OpenWebSearch.eu is devoted to be fully Open Source and Open Data. We are also open to communities, developers, researchers or organisations to join us and contribute / use the projects result.

Regular coordination happens in the OpenWebSearch Community. For development, we use the Gitlab OpenCode hosted by IT4I.

Touch Points#

  • We have regular weekly standups on Friday, 9:30-10:00 discussing blockers and next steps. Join the OpenWebSearch Community to get an invite

  • We plan features and developments in the issue tracking system associated with this online book. See e.g. our 2025 Roadmap EPIC

  • Documentation is done in the individual repositories (see next chapter), with an aggregate in this book

  • We provide tutorials for functionalities and use cases in this book

  • Persistent deliverables/reports/software (e.g. for experiments) should be submitted to our Zenodo community
